Dear PCC friends:

End-of-the-Year Greetings
As 2012 draws to a close, I send greetings to you and I hope things are going well for each of you. The year has seen some improvements for countries and societies in the Pacific Region; however, big challenges remain for all of us.  We need to invest more in education and continue our efforts to improve educational practices so that we can help people in each of our communities.

2012 PCC conference in Seoul, Korea
We had an excellent 2012 Pacific Circle Consortium (PCC) annual meeting in Seoul, Korea.  We are VERY grateful to Meesook Kim, the Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI), and the Ewha Womans University group for conducting a wonderful conference. The meeting was a superb blend of conference sessions and cultural experiences which helped us understand Korean cultural practices and the Korean educational system. Thank you to our Korean colleagues for an outstanding 2012 PCC Conference in a fantastic setting.
